Trivia Night
TOOT TOOT MUDDAPLUCKERS!
Well, the Trivia night was a bit of a hoot! I didn’t snag the win because apparently putting your answer sheets in to get marked increases your chances of winning. Who knew? #thethingswelearn.
Thanks to my mate Kel, I found myself at the table with Greg Evans Tony, and No Longer Jacqui with a Peen Ryan. Our team name? DJ Jac and the Mafsters! #thanksfi
The winning team turned out to be a bunch of Catholic primary school teachers who taught all three of my kids. Carina would have been proud #cathosforthewin
Did I ask the boys some questions? You bet! You lot loaded me up, and I was on a mission. Was I a smidge inappropriate with some of them? #whataboutthebjcommentryan. #awaytopassthetime
I even asked Ryan to answer some questions on video, and he said he’d answer any questions thrown his way. “Faaaaaark,” I thought, this’ll be good!
But then, after we chatted some more, I had a moment of clarity. I’m not some freaking MAFS investigative journalist or some fame tart… I’m a middle-aged bint who loves writing about reality stuff. Maybe it’s the Mum in me, but I decided against doing the vid. There’s too much legal stuff going on without me sht stirring for fun.
Truth be told, I think they’re MAFS’d out and we all pretty much know the goss anyway.
So here’s what I CAN spill: I asked, “If you two could do MAFS again and choose your bride from the existing group, who would it be?” In unison, they both said “Rhi.” Not a single hesitation #nosurprise
Tony seems like a genuinely nice bloke who’s enjoying life after MAFS. From what I could gather, nothing will really change for him. I met some of his family members (hey Sonya and Britt!) and a few of his mates, and they are a tribe of fab, family-loving folk. Surrounding yourself with good people keeps everyone grounded.
Could I ever see DJ Morena fitting in with his crowd? #absolutelyfcknnot.
Ryan didn’t actually apply for the show; he was approached. I’m not saying he was approached because he’s an actor #butimnotnotsayingit.
Ryan was also soaking up all the perks that come with being a MAFS ‘celebrity.’ I noticed a lot of women are wowed by ‘fame,’ so I’m pretty sure the boys are having a ball #oracrackwhatevs.
Oh yeah, and I’m not sure Ryan was a fan of the nickname I gave him while Greg Evans Tony just laughed at his.
All in all, it was a fun night. Lots of chicks having a fab time with the show that gives plenty of #dramallama and #trashtraintoots
Should be interesting to watch the Dinner Party on Sunday.
Maybe I should do another Trivia night online soon?
